Family Therapy
Families can be complicated. You love each other but can also drive each other up the wall. Often times something happens that you weren’t expecting: a disclosure, a diagnosis, a loss, a transition. Suddenly the tools that used to work just don’t anymore.
Family therapy isn't about deciding who's right; It's about helping everyone in the room find a way forward together.
I work with families of all kinds — blended, single-parent, multi-generational, chosen, and everything in between. If you're a family, you're welcome here.
What we can work on together:
Communication breakdown and recurring conflict
Supporting a family member through a mental health challenge
A child or teen coming out or transitioning
Navigating a major life change — divorce, a move, a loss, a new diagnosis
Rebuilding connection after a hurtful event
Differing expectations across generations
Strengthening your family before things reach a breaking point
What to expect:
Sessions are 50 minutes to start, with longer sessions available for bigger groups or more complex situations. We'll begin by making sure everyone has a chance to be heard, not just the loudest voice in the room. From there, we'll work as a team on whatever your family needs most.
I'll be direct, honest, and patient with your whole family, even when the conversation is hard. I won't just nod along; I'll ask questions that matter and work alongside you in real time.

A free 15-minute consultation is a good place to start. We can talk through what's going on and whether family therapy might help.
